Molly McDonough is a software engineer, fiction writer, and poet. She has degrees in mechanical engineering and engineering management from Cornell University. She has further refined her skills through writing courses with the University of British Columbia and a rigorous full stack software engineering program with Flatiron School. With a rich background in aerospace, agriculture, finance, and healthcare, Molly brings a wealth of experience to her role as a freelance engineer at Charles River Data, LLC.

When not working, Molly can be found spending time with family in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and North Carolina; traveling and volunteering around the world; or telling her cat, Pickle, how adorable and perfect she is. Molly's unique blend of engineering precision and creative imagination shines through in her work. Her code is as elegant as her prose, her speculative fiction as intriguing as her software designs, and her poetry as poignant as her real-life experiences.
